This July, I retired as editor-in-chief.

Now, I want to take a more elevated view of the issues that face America and our democracy, an America that is under attack by the very forces some Americans put into power.

If you are an informed and discerning news consumer who is done wasting time with a mainstream media that is driven by outrage, clicks, and a duty to corporate executives and their advertisers, and you want an honest assessment of the crises, crimes, and claptrap that have besieged a nation whose leaders are operating under the influence of billionaires and extremists, kowtowing to hostile foreign agendas, and destroying decades of relationships with our allies, then The Harbinger is for you.

WHY THE HARBINGER?

A harbinger was once a herald warning about the future. Later, the word grew into something broader: a sign that something is about to happen.

There are plenty of signs in politics: executive orders and legal rulings that quietly expand the president’s power. Judges nominated for specific agendas. Governors and members of Congress whose decisions or votes don’t align with their public claims.

The Harbinger exists to identify those warnings. Politics, power, law, religion — the places where decisions get made that most people never watch closely enough until the decision has already reshaped their lives.

I hope you’ll sign up to join me on this journey, and share this with your friends.

Subscribe now
